My two children have been members of the Heyrod Dojo for 8 months now and have never looked back. The first thing I noticed (after enquiring at a few local Martail Arts clubs in the area) was the blatent difference in lesson prices/membership fees etc between them. Some were charging £50 to sign up and £5 per lesson!! After getting in touch with S.K.C., they arranged for me to go down to the club and have a look around. After a visit and meeting the Staff I decided that this was the right club for my kids. After only a few weeks, the difference in my children was amazing and now, I have noticed significant change for the better in their schoolwork and behaviour at home. In my opinion, the Club has struck the perfect balance between fun and discipline and I would recommend Heyrod Karate to anyone who is thinking of enrolling at a Martial Arts club! ES, Stalybridge
Our Son has found Stalybridge Karate Club to be a wonderful experience. The club has a lovely, freindly family atmosphere where the Instructors know each student individually. The Staff are dedicated and comitted and take care to make each child feel welcome. PQ, Stalybridge
My children attend S.K.C. twice a week and they absolutley love it! Both children have completely different personalities but both have benefitted from the lessons in different ways however it is my oldest child who has taken the most from the lessons as she is very quiet and was often bullied at school but since coming to karate her confidence has soared and she has made friends with several other club members, the staff have always been friendly and approachable which puts you at ease from the moment you first arrive and I look forward to being a part of the club (however small) in the future! I would like to thank Darren and Shelley for all their efforts with our two boys. I find myself feeling very proud of their progress and they are learning new techniques all the time, this is all down to you. My son attends Little Dragons and looks forward to the lessons every week. The class activities are brilliant, the balance is just right between creating a challenge and engaging my son without presenting major difficulties for him. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are a perfect example of people who do what they do because of their love of it, not for their own financial gains.
